March is now here... spent the past couple weeks looking over other build sites, the build manual, and checking off a few more items from the tool list.
The Engine is now ready at American Speed. It is being shipped to the factory in Hinckley, and will then be crated with the kit and sent to me - this additional step of sending the engine to UK first (rather than directly to me) is needed due to registration requirements in Dubai for the finished car.
I have also been in contact with the factory, and unfortunately, there will be a delay in my order as they are extremely busy and back-logged. The current estimated time for kit completion is now around April end, and after factoring in the shipping, I expect to receive the kit by the end of May... another 9 weeks! I hate waiting! But this may be a good lesson in learning to have patience, which I hear will be quite useful during the build.
