I finally started my journey of joining the Ultima club by visiting the
Ultima factory in Hinckley, UK on January 9th, 2015. A few hours in the
presence of Ted and Richard Marlow, creators of the Ultima (GTR and
CanAm), and I knew what I would be doing for the rest of 2015 - BUILDING
MY OWN CAR!
I finalized my order, and sent in the advance... Now the wait begins. 12 weeks for the factory to get the chassis and parts ready, and another few weeks for the crate to ship and make its way to Dubai.
That gives me about 15 weeks to finalize an engine, transmission, get my tools and mods ready, and create a place to do the build...
